Lunar Photography - Playing with the Moon

During the last lunar cycle, I became obsessed with the moon as much as a werewolf would be and spent hours staring at it through my zoom lens. Here are 3 of the best shots among many that I took -

The Beaver Full Moon on 6th November 2014.
There are two theories to why the November full moon is called the Beaver Moon. Some say that it is because this is the time of the year when beaver traps are set to capture beavers before the water freezes. This ensures a supply of warm fur for the winters. Others say it is because of the heavy activity of beavers preparing for winter during this time.
